Project Life 2026: August ephemera

Here are the scraps of ephemera I saved in August.

A 6-inch by 8-inch page protector divided into 12 two-inch by two-inch pockets. Each pocket hold a piece of ephemera from my life in August 2026, as enumerated in the bulleted lists in the body of the post.

Top row

  • Packaging from new hair ties
  • Packaging from my latest Rogue order (chalk (theirs is the best and it lasts forever)
  • Packaging from the Legally Blonde edition of ICE Sparkling Water, which I decided to try because it’s pink and sparkly (it was okay, no strong opinion either way)

Second row

  • Pre-workout sampler packaging
  • Label from a set of Container Store hanging folders (they’re my favorite; I love the color options, how thick the folders are, and how they feel to the touch)
  • Packaging from a small bottle of the Target brand Excedrin I bought for the migraine kit I keep in my car

Third row

  • Packaging from Dixie, my new dictionary
  • Packaging from a bag of the dark chocolate Lindt LINDOR chocolates
  • Wrapper from a Dum-Dums

Bottom row

  • Ink cartridge packaging
  • Packaging from the small containers I bought to carry my various powders and potions to the gym with me so I can stop carrying them around in tiny ziplock bags like a drug dealer. THEY’RE SO CUTE!!!
  • Caution tape that was strung across the entrance to my apartment complex’s parking lot after being repaved and re-striped
